LESSON 1:
INTRODUCTION TO 7-DAY REVOLUTION

One of the most revolutionary things you can do is to start living your life as if it only consisted of one seven day week. Pretend you have nothing more, nothing less. On the eighth day, rest and recommit yourself to another seven days of the same courageous focus.

LESSON 2:
IDEAL DAY

Each day of your life is like a tile in a massive mosaic in the making. You can conquer the world if you master your day. Do what’s most important and focus on this one week in front of you, one day at a time. You will become a catalyst for great change.

LESSON 1: LIFE LEGACY

The enemy of what’s best is often the “good.” Most people don’t spend nearly enough time thinking about their long-term legacy – but not you. You’re going to learn how to filter everything you could do in life through a FOCUS FILTER. You’re going to filter out the things that are okay, and even “good,” and exchange them for what’s best in light of your Life Purpose and Vision.

LESSON 2: VISION TRIPS

Yes, it takes time to plan for success – but the time it takes to make corrections due to poor planning costs far more. Your life is too valuable to live unintentionally. A Vision Trip is a set-apart time, in a distraction-fee place, where you think about and plan your legacy.

LESSON 3: APTITUDE

Why strive to be a second-rate version of someone else when you can be a first-class edition of the only you there will ever be? Many people set out to achieve things they simply aren’t suited for – and create a great deal of unnecessary frustration as a result. Your aptitude is your natural, God-given ability to do something.

LESSON 4: LIFE PASSION

Life is too short to pursue anything less than your passion. Passion is what gets you up in the morning and floats your boat throughout each day. If you find that you’re not excited about your life, your career, or your relationships, it could be a sign that you’ve either lost your passion or never found it in the first place.

LESSON 5: LIFE PURPOSE AND VISION

We don’t need more hours in a day. We need more vision in the midst of the hours. Purpose is powerful. Vision is vital. A clear, compelling vision for your life is the greatest motivator – and rudder – of all. Nothing can compensate for a lack of vision.

LESSON 6: 5 VITAL VALUES

Vital Values are “rudders.” They guide you toward the fulfillment of your Life Purpose and Vision with far more success than if you sailed without them. There are five vital values, which, if embraced and prioritized, will dramatically and positively impact your life, family, house of worship and work environment.

LESSON 7: CULTURE

Great culture is the outcome of a journey on purpose. The reason for having a Focus Filter, with clear Life Purpose and Vision Statements, and 5 Vital Values, is because they shape everything about you – and everyone you encounter. Nations are influenced – for better or worse – by the collective purpose, vision, and values of their people.

LESSON 1:
RELATIONSHIPS

Life is relationships. There is no area of life we can safely separate from relationships. Every human being craves rich, satisfying relationships, and when you put relationships first, it positively impacts everything.

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 2:
SIMPLICITY

Simple is better; less is more. Life, especially nowadays, gravitates towards complexity. When you simplify your life, and remain vigilant in keeping it simple life goes to a deeper, higher level of clarity, satisfaction, and productivity.

LESSON 3:
COURAGEOUS HUMILITY

Truth + Love = Courage. We live in an age where most people are at least somewhat capable of doing one, but often weak at demonstrating the other. Rare is a person who is able to speak truth and love with equal measure. Yet, courageous humility is not something any of us are born with. It takes practice to master it, and master it you can.

LESSON 4:
MOVEMENT

It’s not merely movement that matters, but also who you’re moving with. This is the Vital Value that is perhaps more important than all of the others combined because it has to do with your Creator, best friend, and the Architect of life itself. No one who surrenders to God will ever live to regret it – but there is a whole host of people who mistakenly think resisting Him will get them ahead.

LESSON 5:
EXPONENTIAL REPLICATION

Replicate while you sleep. Many people understand the concept of compound interest when it comes to money. The same principle can – and should – be applied in your life. The daily deposits you make into the lives of people can also grow over time, and become powerful, positive, and unforgettable – to such a degree that even while you’re sleeping, your influence is being felt.

LESSON 1:
"S" - Specific

The goal should be SPECIFIC. The more specific you are with the goal, the easier it is for you to be focused and devoted to its accomplishment. When a goal is vague, the circumstances of any given day can overcome it.

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 2:
"M" - MEASURABLE

The goal should be MEASURABLE. Establish goals that you can measure, so that you know how well you are making progress. When a goal is measurable, it reflects things like quantity, size, and speed. You need to be able to measure things like how much, how many, or how fast, in order to determine your progress towards achieving the goal.

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 3:
"A" - ACHIEVABLE

The goal should S-T-R-E-T-C-H you but still be ACHIEVABLE. Few things are as discouraging as setting a goal that is so big it’s nearly impossible to achieve. Your annual goals, for instance, should be within your reach but stretch you toward the fulfillment of your long-term goals (5 years, 10 years, and beyond).

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 4:
"R" - RELEVANT

The goal should be RELEVANT. If a goal is not relevant to you, your family, your career or society, why bother? A relevant goal aligns with your core values (remember the 5 Vital Values), and your Life Purpose and Vision Statements. When your goals are filtered through your Vital Values and Life Purpose and Vision Statements, you’ll greatly increase your motivation.

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 5:
"T" - TIME-BOUND

The goal should be TIME-BOUND. The difference between a dream and a goal is a deadline. Until you set a date for the completion of a “goal,” it’s merely wishful thinking, not a real goal.

Click the arrow for the next lesson

LESSON 6:
"E" - EVALUATE

You must be able to EVALUATE the goal. Socrates noted that “the unexamined life is not worth living.” When you evaluate your goals each week, month, and year, you increase the odds of achieving them. If you are not evaluating your goals you’re not maximizing your potential.

LESSON 7:
"R" - READJUST

READJUST your activities so that your goals really are prioritized and achieved. Albert Einstein said, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” If things aren’t working, change them. Remember that you’re not a servant to your goals  Your goals are your servants.

ABOUT THE 7 AREAS OF LIFE

It’s helpful to look at your life in seven major areas and to prioritize goals in each area. By setting goals in these seven areas of life, you’ll simplify what would otherwise seem very overwhelming and complex.
